The word "Alternative Sanitizers" are used to describe a variety of products that often fulfill the same function in the swimming pool or spa. They sanitize using methods other than traditional chlorine to eliminate contaminants in the swimming pool or spa. They are a safe and viable and economical method to reduce the harshness of chemicals and to make the water feel more "softer" on the swimmer's skin.
