Nature2 CF
Now, Nature2 is available for your pool. That means you can
experience a revolutionary new approach to purifying your inground or
aboveground pool that gives you the purest, clearest water imaginable. The
patented Nature2 Purifier uses the same minerals found in
nature to trap bacteria and algae. Just drop Nature2 CF into
your cartridge filter, activate the Purifier and let it do the rest for
four months. Then, just sit back and start experiencing a more refreshing
pool. Nature2 is not intended for use in aquariums or outdoor
fishponds where algae is a necessary component of marine animal health.
The benefits of Nature2 are easy to see.
Using a Nature2 Purifier means you can significantly reduce
harsh chemicals like chlorine from your pool. And continuous use of Nature2
in your pool will mean less suspended matter and a more consistent pH
balance. Just think—no more red, stinging eyes, bleached hair or harsh
chemical odors. Maintaining a pool with Nature2 is much simpler
than using traditional chemical treatments. The Nature2
Purifier works automatically and requires no electricity. Pool owners who
have switched from
chemical programs happily report that they are now spending considerably
less time maintaining their pools with Nature2. This means more
time for you to enjoy your pool and its fresh, clean water.
How does Nature2 CF work?
Water flows through the Nature2 CF Purifier which contains a
layer of minerals which traps bacteria and algae. The Purifier contains no
moving parts and is unaffected by heavy use, hot weather and water
temperature. It provides the ultimate in water purification for your pool
for four months.
Nature2 CF: A perfect fit for your cartridge filter.
The Nature2 CF Pool Purifier drops into the cartridge filter of
your inground or aboveground pool up to 25,000 gallons. When you place a
Nature2 CF into your filter and activate the Purifier, you'll
see and feel the exhilarating difference in water quality. There are no
changes to your system and no installation costs. It's that easy.
Just
how pure is a Nature2 pool?
Pool water purified by Nature2 actually exceeds EPA drinking
water standards for bacteria. Imagine, the water in your swimming pool may
well be cleaner than the water you drink. When you swim in a pool that's
been purified by Nature2, you will enjoy water that is actually
softer and purer than any other pool water you've ever experienced. Your
hair and skin will feel incredible compared to swimming in
chemically-overloaded water. For additional information about Nature2
CF, ask your pool care professional.

Owners Manual
The Nature2 CF consists of 4 Purifier cartridges, 2 end caps
and 2 end spikes. (Fig. 1) Depending upon the size of your swimming pool
cartridge filter, these parts can be assembled as a bundle of 4 Purifier
cartridges, (Fig. 2) or as 2 sticks of 2 Purifier cartridges each. (Fig.
3) NOTE: You should first attempt to use the bundle as shown in Step 1.
Fig. 1

Fig. 2 & 3
STEP 1: Bundle Assembly Turn off the pump and disassemble the pool filter
as you normally would to clean the cartridge. Check to see if the endcap
fits easily into the core of your cartridge filter; if it does not, go
to Step 2. (The hole in the center of the endcap accommodates a center
rod should your filter have one.) To make the bundle, lay an end cap on a
flat surface and snap the 4 Purifier cartridges into it, so that the tabs
are pointing up. (Fig 4A) Snap the other end cap on top. (Fig. 4B) Be
sure that the notch on each end cap lines up together to accommodate an
air bleed tube. (Fig 4B)

STEP 2: Stick Assembly — Use only after attempting Step 1! Snap two
Purifier cartridges together so that each tab and slot line up, (Fig. 5A)
then snap the end spike to one end. (Fig. 5B) Slide both sets of sticks
into the center of your cartridge filter. NOTE: Due to width
restrictions some cartridge filters will only hold one stick at a time, in
this case replace the stick every 2 months. NOTE: Once assembled, do not
attempt to separate the Purifier cartridges as the tabs may break.

INSTALLATION
Before installing the Nature2 CF in your swimming pool, remove
debris and algae out of the pool and clean your cartridge filter.
Important: Do not install the Nature2 CF until your pool water
is chemically balanced.
1. Balance pool water. All swimming pools, including Nature2
pools, require properly balanced water. Maintain the pH between 7.4 and
7.8, the calcium hardness between 200 PPM to 400 PPM and the total
alkalinity between 80 PPM and 150 PPM. Consult your Nature2
dealer for specific water balance instructions.
2. Install the Nature2 CF into your pool filter
(see assembly instructions)
3. Super-oxide or "shock" the pool. On the first day,
super-oxide the water with 1 lb. dry or 1 gallon liquid chlorine per
10,000 gallons of water to burn off contaminants and to activate the
Purifier cartridge. Important: Initial super-oxidation with chlorine
is required.
4. Activate the Nature2 CF. Run the pump and filter
system with the Nature2 Natural Pool Purifier installed in
the pool for 24 hours per day for 4 days or for 6 hours per day for 14
days.
5. Maintain a 1 PPM to 2 PPM residual free chlorine level
throughout the 4 day or 14 day activation period. Test your chlorine
level regularly.
6. Allow the free chlorine level to drop to 0.5 PPM after the
activation period is complete.
7. Follow the maintenance recipe listed below. NOTE: The Nature2
CF will need to be replaced every 4 months.
Low Chlorine Maintenance Recipe
|
When: |
What to do: |
|
Everyday |
Run the pump and filter system at least 6 hours daily |
|
Once a week |
Balance the pH and Total Alkalinity |
|
Twice a week |
Check the free chlorine residual, add chlorine to maintain a 0.5
PPM free chlorine level |
|
As needed |
If the water starts to look hazy, "shock" the pool using 1lb.
granular chlorine or 1lb. potassium peroxymonosulfate per 10,000
gallons of water. Add cyanuric acid as needed to maintain 50 PPM.
NOTE: After use or rainstorms additional "shocking" is
recommended. |
