Directions for Use:
Superchlorination
When starting up a new pool superchlorinate to satisfy pool chlorine demand and to establish a swimming pool chlorine residual of 1.0 ppm to 1.5 ppm available chlorine.
Add 2 oz. of this product per 1,000 gallons which will provide 8.7 ppm available chlorine.
Test with a reliable chlorine test kit.
Bathers should not be allowed to enter the pool until the chlorine residual has dropped to 3.0 ppm or less.
The next morning add Conditioner and Stabilizer (Cyanuric Acid) according to the directions on the label to stabilize the pool.
Note: It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in
a manner inconsistent with its labeling. |
Daily Chlorination:
This product should be added daily or as needed at the rate of 1/4 to 1/2 oz. per 1,000
gallons of pool water to maintain a chlorine residual at all times of 1.0 ppm to 1.6 ppm as determined by a suitable test kit.
The pH should be maintained between 7.2 - 7.6

Swimming Pool Shock Treatment: ...get swimming pool shock here
A shock treatment should be maintained every week during hot weather or after heavy rains. Less frequent shock treatments may be made during cool weather.
For the shock treatment, add 2 oz. of this product per 1,000 gallons of swimming pool water.
Swimmers should not be permitted in the pool after the shock treatment until the chlorine residual falls to 3.0 ppm or less.
Keep in mind that a slight flexibility must be maintained in the event of
heavy accumulations of dust and dirt caused by storms of super heavy bathing loads which require additional dosages as needed to maintain the chlorine residual between 1.0 and 1.5 ppm.
Pool should not be entered until the chlorine residual is below 3.0 ppm.
